Welcome to the home of the very worst of the meretricious poetasters!

number 28 for 8-15-05:

PROTEST FATIGUE???????

We are hostile toward protestors in a land where protesting is the right we need to protect the most. The right to petition a redress of grievances from our government and the people who run our country is the most important right we have.

Strange that the people who so often condemn protestors are the ones who protest themselves. For instance, the minute people start slamming Tom DeLay for his ILLEGAL activities, he condemns it as smear media. But when Tom DeLay gets a cadre of people together to protest "activist" judges, he gets media attention and no one condemns him except me.

      Citation

This whole concept of activist judges, I've gone into it before. Legislating from the bench is ALLOWED. It's just frowned upon. It happens all the damned time, and sets precedents. These bastards would not give a solid shit if a judge handed down a law that said being atheistic was illegal. You know that. I know that.

What this is about, and where this started, is the atheist who wanted "Under God" removed from the pledge of allegiance. It was added in 1954, it's not a part of the founding fathers' vision, and it's prejudicial against anyone who wants to say the pledge that is not a Christian.

So Conservatives are having a shit-nit, because perish the day that an atheist might have equal rights or a secular society to live in.

These same bastards are the first to condemn any war protestor and call it un-American.

It all started with a mother who went to Bush's ranch and sat outside waiting to talk with/make a point with the president.

      Citation

It failed. Bush ignored her ass. As he does all protestors, because he is a bad president and a failure diplomat. A good man would have addressed that crowd. You'll note, Bush was part of the protest against "activist" judges himself.

      Citation

As soon as she dared to make her plight public, the media began to smear the shit out of her.

First, Drudge pointed out that she had once supported the president after meeting with him. Then, Drudge pointed out that she said some wacky things, like she wasn't going to pay taxes (dumb) or that Israel should leave Palestine alone (smart).

      Citation

Then Smoking Gun steps in, publicly indicating that her husband was leaving her because she was involved in these affairs.

     Citation

So I guess if you're a senator and you protest, you get publicity. If you're a mother whose SON DIED IN IRAQ FOR OUR FUCKING SINS, you get raked through the mud.

Yeah, the bitch is nutty. I'm not saying she's not. Most protestors are. Including Tom DeLay. But there's something everyone seems to miss.

SHE WENT NUTTY BECAUSE THE PRESIDENT GOT HER FUCKING SON KILLED IN A WAR WE DID NOT NEED TO FIGHT.

That would make me a little off the cuff and angry myself, I don't know about you. My dad has sat his ass in the sweltering sun of Kuwait, and I'm already furious to the point of near irrationality it happened even though he came home safe and happy.

But then, as Bush's neighbor states, this is Texas.

And Bush's neighbor would know. In the middle of a PRAYER MEETING, the neighbor decided to fire shotgun blasts into the air. He said he was practicing dove hunting. How fucking ironic and smartassed. How genius.

      What an asshole.

      Citation

      But it gets better.

CNN showed its liberal side and Fox showed its asshole side in reporting the story.

First off, there's the CNN story about the man who tried to intimidate the protestors into leaving with gunfire and then covered it with a bullshit story about hunting doves.

Their headline? "Bush Neighbor Takes Aim at 'Doves' ".

     Citation

Now, while I appreciate the use of editorial sarcasm, that's not how objective news is supposed to work. It should be "Man Opens Fire Near Protest", at best. Then, elaboration. The headline is sensationalism, and it lacks integrity.

But at least, at very least, it doesn't try and excuse the jackass.

      Enter Fox News.

Their headline has to be the most despicable example of irresponsible reporting I have ever seen in my fucking life.

Their headline? "Bush Neighbor Suffers Protest Fatigue."

Protest fatigue? Protest fatigue? You fuckity fucks. You fuckity fuck fucks. You fucking assholes. You pricks. You diabolical cunts. You asshat fucksticks. You Jesus pumping rectal fuckers. You cum gargling crew sluts. You ass fucking fuck fucks. You blemishes on the face on integrity.

It's NOT FUCKING PROTEST FATIGUE. The man FIRED a GUN at PEACEFUL PROTESTORS. That is CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION, even if the woman responsible is a CRAZED BITCH.

You know what I would fucking like to do?

YOU FUCKING ASSHOLES KNOW WHAT I WANT TO FUCKING DO?

I want to go stand next to President Bush and fire my pistol off right next to his fucking ear.* And when the Secret Service swarms to beat my ass into submission, you know what I'll say?

I have goddamned protest fatigue. I'm tired of this shit. I was shooting at "God" for allowing this shit to happen.

*Much as it pains me to have to do this in a free speech society, please note that I have no intention to take, nor do I advise taking a gun anywhere near the president. It would result in a Cheney administration, number one, which I don't want at all, and it's wrong. I'm merely putting this caveat here so that you all (meaning the Secret Service) realize that while I am angry at the president, I have no intentions nor have I ever had any intentions to attack the president. Nor would I. It's a metaphor, that's all, to illustrate a point. Sigh.
