I read the news with a little bit of shock and awe. They decided to shut down the Senate in order to call republicans to task for failing to account for discrepancies between the truth and the lies told to bring us to war with Iraq.
This should be a cause for celebration. Yay. They're finally holding people accountable for lying to the public. Can you sense the utter morbid lack of enthusiasm with which I write those words?
