            Living each moment

Like the bomb’s about to go

            And they live each moment

            Making the bombs

            It’s ironic to watch

Swerving and screeching on highways and screaming

They put their phones to their ears

            And swat at their kids

            And say asinine things like

“Wait until you have a few kids

            And then you’ll understand.”

            When already

I understand more than they do

            In this shallow yuppie-ville

            The dead will be lucky

In this crop of opulent madness

            Remember

            The nuclear option

            Is still on the table

            And remember

            When they come for you

You watched them build the bombs

            And remember

            When they come for you

            You were warned

            And remember

            When they come for you

To try and not make too much noise

After all there is a noise ordinance

            And remember

            When they come for you

            You lived ever moment

            Under the bomb

            Where is your courage?
